Through the Prism

After passing through the prism, each refraction contains some pure essence of the light, but only an incomplete part. We will always experience some aspect of reality, of the Truth, but only from our perspectives as they are colored by who and where we are. Others will know a different color and none will see the whole, complete light. These are my musings from my particular refraction.

You know, you would think that after all these years, just once I would remember your birthday falls in the same month as mine.

Yes, congratulations on the birthing. It was a crowning achievement!

Oh, shits. I knew there was something I was supposed to tell you today. Well, happy belated birthday, Sir.

Thank you for the well-wishing. Even though I fished for it, we didn't do much to celebrate. I do recommend trying Tonic in downtown OP. We enjoyed a variety of excellent tapas followed by a chocolate tasting, all with a nice ambiance and full bar. We were too late, but noticed that the tapas are half-priced 4:30-6:30.

And I should also mention that I'm horrible about remembering dates, so if you want reciprocal acknowledgment you'll need to give me a similar reminder (sorry Lummox).

I don't know what anyone's birthday is. Makes it easier that way-- no pressure to remember.

Did anyone get my joke? I don't think you all realize how funny "crowning achievement" is.

And I'm with Hadrian.
