Through the Prism

After passing through the prism, each refraction contains some pure essence of the light, but only an incomplete part. We will always experience some aspect of reality, of the Truth, but only from our perspectives as they are colored by who and where we are. Others will know a different color and none will see the whole, complete light. These are my musings from my particular refraction.

Economic Stuff

According to this article, conservative pundits are saying the mortgage crisis is due to government pressure during the Clinton administration on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to give loans to minorities and the poor, loans they couldn't afford. The article goes on to explain how incorrect this assertion is. It was private businesses that overreached through subprime lending, and most of those mortgages were not targeted at the poor.

And speaking of economics, don't forget to read Obamanomics: Depending on how you look at it, he is both more left-wing and more right-wing than many people realize.
