Through the Prism

After passing through the prism, each refraction contains some pure essence of the light, but only an incomplete part. We will always experience some aspect of reality, of the Truth, but only from our perspectives as they are colored by who and where we are. Others will know a different color and none will see the whole, complete light. These are my musings from my particular refraction.

No one expects the Spanish Inquisition!

Isabel and Ferdinand were in love. They thought alike. Both wanted everyone in Spain to be Catholic. They punished anyone who was not.

The penultimate paragraph in a beginning reader book: Isabel Saves the Prince: Based on a True Story of Isabel I of Spain (from the Young Princess around the World series). (It has a lot of text on the cover for a beginning reader.)
