Through the Prism

After passing through the prism, each refraction contains some pure essence of the light, but only an incomplete part. We will always experience some aspect of reality, of the Truth, but only from our perspectives as they are colored by who and where we are. Others will know a different color and none will see the whole, complete light. These are my musings from my particular refraction.

Momentary Thoughts

Every day I see so many faces for which I never hear voices.

-----

So often, participating in life involves being battered by urgency.

. . . and it's hard not to be infected by the existential anxiousness of it all . . . I want to slow down and relax, tune in, enjoy, and focus, but the world doesn't want to let me.

Facebook feeds can get particularly pernicious this way.

-----

Courage is knowing it might hurt and doing it anyway.

Stupidity is the same.

And that's why life is hard.
