Through the Prism

After passing through the prism, each refraction contains some pure essence of the light, but only an incomplete part. We will always experience some aspect of reality, of the Truth, but only from our perspectives as they are colored by who and where we are. Others will know a different color and none will see the whole, complete light. These are my musings from my particular refraction.

Winter Is Coming

Is it a blanket with arms? A jedi robe (if only seen from the front)? A fleece hospital gown? Whichever, it is a couch potato's dream: The Slanket.

OK, I just looked at my completed post and I come across as a corporate shill. I've had no contact with the company, don't own a slanket yet, and am receiving no reimbursement for this post, just thought it sounded like a cool idea. I don't know how many times I've curled up on the couch with a book or movie and been unable to find a good way to completely cover myself with a blanket and still have arms to hold the book or drive the remote. This is the solution.

That's genius for thin-blooded gamers! I know someone who might be able to pair this with his big fat sumo cushion. ;)

Slanket? But Jedi robe sounds way cooler.

That will make for many a happy geek holiday.

Did anyone notice the George R. R. Martin reference?

And, yeah, slanket's a pretty stupid name.
