Through the Prism

After passing through the prism, each refraction contains some pure essence of the light, but only an incomplete part. We will always experience some aspect of reality, of the Truth, but only from our perspectives as they are colored by who and where we are. Others will know a different color and none will see the whole, complete light. These are my musings from my particular refraction.

Pet Peeve

Why can't anyone ever reassemble a newspaper after they're finished reading it? The pages and sections are numbered; just put everything back in order, line up the creases, and fold. Simple.

Obsessive if you need to do that at home? Yes.

Obsessive if you have to do it 20 times a day because you've got to clean up after someone at work...no way.

You expect this out of the same people who take a book of the shelves, then immediately set it down on the side instead of sliding it back in where it belongs?

Aren't pet peeves by nature obsessive? It bothers me regardless of the context.
