Through the Prism

After passing through the prism, each refraction contains some pure essence of the light, but only an incomplete part. We will always experience some aspect of reality, of the Truth, but only from our perspectives as they are colored by who and where we are. Others will know a different color and none will see the whole, complete light. These are my musings from my particular refraction.

Books? What Are Books?

45 minutes after opening, we have 19 patrons in the building. 14 of them are using or waiting to use computers. A pretty typical morning.

However, by not letting my teenager on the computer as much in his young life... he's now behind in his keyboarding class.

And mind you, this is the BASIC keyboarding class. He was woefully unprepared for the freshman entry-level "intergrated computer applications" class. The first day he went to *that* class, teacher had them type, with the keyboard covered. Didn't take sonny long to realize he wasn't ready for all that.

At least the computer patrons are getting more experience than my child!
