Through the Prism

After passing through the prism, each refraction contains some pure essence of the light, but only an incomplete part. We will always experience some aspect of reality, of the Truth, but only from our perspectives as they are colored by who and where we are. Others will know a different color and none will see the whole, complete light. These are my musings from my particular refraction.

Graphic-less Novel for Comic Geeks

Soon I Will Be Invincible, by Austin Grossman.

Told in alternating chapters by two characters--evil genius Doctor Impossible and rookie hero Fatale--this book is a nice look at the world of heroes and villains. Doctor Impossible has escaped from jail and apparently finally succeeded in killing his arch-nemesis, ultimate good guy CoreFire. His old team the Champions are reformed with a few new members (like Fatale) to investigate CoreFire's disappearance and try to track down Doctor Impossible before his next doomsday plan comes to fruition. The story gives a fun and complex depiction of what might drive those who wear costumes for a living. Recommended for any teen or adult who likes comics.
