Through the Prism

After passing through the prism, each refraction contains some pure essence of the light, but only an incomplete part. We will always experience some aspect of reality, of the Truth, but only from our perspectives as they are colored by who and where we are. Others will know a different color and none will see the whole, complete light. These are my musings from my particular refraction.

Wow!

Smith Center, Kan., scored a national-record 72 points in the first quarter of its football game Tuesday against Plainville. . . .

Some other highlights from the game:

•Smith Center used 14 different rushers.

•The team never punted. In fact, Smith Center hasn’t punted all season.

•The victory was its 50th in a row.

•Smith Center, which rarely throws the ball, is averaging 71 points a game, and has outscored its opponents this season 640-0. The team hasn’t been scored on since winning the 2A-1A state championship last season 56-26. . . .
