Through the Prism

After passing through the prism, each refraction contains some pure essence of the light, but only an incomplete part. We will always experience some aspect of reality, of the Truth, but only from our perspectives as they are colored by who and where we are. Others will know a different color and none will see the whole, complete light. These are my musings from my particular refraction.

I Drink Your Milkshake

There was blood. Rarely do I leave a movie theater in a bad mood, but this was a dark and depressing tale. Excellently told. Now I can't stop reflecting on it.

Best word to describe it? Insane.

The whole movie? Not at all. The character? Quite probably, in the end. But the more time passes, the more I appreciate the quality of the film.

We even went bowling tonight. There was no blood.

It was a very, very good movie, but I disagree that it wasn't insane. From beginning to end.

Dude, don't post a video of the end of the movie!

It doesn't give anything away.

No County may be stylistically better, but this one had more emotional impact. The way Daniel and Eli used each other and made each other admit the truths about themselves. The ending defines the title. Dark and depressing, yes, but I was too awed to leave in a bad mood.
