There's a Bad Egg in My Pants
It's extremely easy to be mean to people you don't really know.
-----
Information just flooding in can be a little unnerving in its own way. And maybe it's better not to know some things. Mysteries make us tick more than just about anything else.
-----
Lies are just facts with more personality.
-----
Sometimes factchecking is more important that facttracking.
-----
This is a seed of truth. And it is at the heart of all lies.
-----
"When we sold facts, I took no interest in them at all. But now that we have all these lies I can't help taking an interest in them because they're all so interesting. Especially the ones about me."
"You are a clever, handsome man, Mr. Mayor," said the first lion.
"See?" said the mayor, beaming. "None of the facts about me were like that!"
-----
For every thing that we are, there are a million things that we're not. And usually, those million things are what we really want but can never have.
-----
People never admit that they tell any lies. But they do! All of them! And do you know why they tell lies? To keep the misery away. So I asked myself: "What's causing all this misery?" And do you know what I discovered? It was all the facts. The facts made them unhappy. The facts about the world, about their lives, about themselves. And yet they persisted in calling facts good and lies bad. Why would any sensible person do that?
-----
If they think it's the truth, then they believe it, and if they believe it long enough, then it becomes the truth.
-----
What is life but a lie with an F in the middle!
-----
The true test of a society isn't how many lies it has; it's how many it believes.

The just small enough boy was taken care of by the good people of Traakerfaxx, which wasn't such a good thing since "good people" is really just an expression. Like "a bad egg," or "ants in my pants," or "a bad egg in my pants," which is a popular expression in Traakerfaxx.
