Hopefully it's just a smear campaign. Sounds like the league allows or perpetuates a lot of animosity between ranks.
Maybe it will also teach Lance to be a bit more cautious when speaking for Team Discovery in the press. Sometimes he can come off sounding a bit TOO confident or assured.
