Through the Prism

After passing through the prism, each refraction contains some pure essence of the light, but only an incomplete part. We will always experience some aspect of reality, of the Truth, but only from our perspectives as they are colored by who and where we are. Others will know a different color and none will see the whole, complete light. These are my musings from my particular refraction.

Am I Creepy for Liking This?

It may be a while before her search capabilities rival google, but when I'm able to take my time, from now on I think I'll have Ms. Dewey help me find the information I need. Much more fun (even when you're not searching). You'll need to have audio to get the full experience.

Very nice. Of course though, I didn't do any actual searching, I just typed in every obscene word or phrase I could think of to see what she would do.

She told me I needed to get a hobby that's . . . oh . . . interesting when I searched for blogger.

Her comments make no sense half the time. I asked about the movie Revenge of the Nerds and she said, "It's searches like that that make people want to beat you up and take your lunch money." WTF?

Ms. Dewey bent over a table...

"Every couple of years we like to have Dewey family reunions..."

She was nicer to you, Gobula...

I told her to bend over, and she said something to the effect of "this isn't girl who does whatever you type in.com".

In a rather snotty manner, as well. Ha!

Degolar... yes, you're a very naughty boy. Though it appears Ms. Dewey likes that type of man. She'll abuse you to her heart's delight.

Did anyone else get the "oh, okay, just this once" line followed by the "video buffering" graphic? Hilarious.

I find it interesting that they chose an actress who's not white even though she speaks "American" English. I was thinking she's south Asian, but my wife insists she's Hispanic. Perhaps that's the idea, that her appearance is hard to place so she has a more universal appeal.

I'd have to agree with your wife on this one. The eyes are Hispanic, not Asian.

Perhaps she is the hottest chick they could get for the tiny ammount they were willing to spend on this thing.

Although I used another search option... I found the answer!

Ms. Dewey is Indian and Dutch, according to Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ms._Dewey

Ahhh, Indian. I didn't think of that. So obvious now!

Indian = south Asian in PC talk.
