Through the Prism

After passing through the prism, each refraction contains some pure essence of the light, but only an incomplete part. We will always experience some aspect of reality, of the Truth, but only from our perspectives as they are colored by who and where we are. Others will know a different color and none will see the whole, complete light. These are my musings from my particular refraction.

Goodbye, Sunshine

Uck! It was dark when I left work today. Far more than the cold, I mind the darkness of winter.

Which is the reverse for me, I love the warm darkness of fall when the time change comes...well until now when they pushed it so far back the time change coincided with the cold, which seems to have robbed me of my energy.

The daylight will shorten regardless of our wishes, and we can either have it in the morning or the evening by our arbitrary time, and personally I find it easier to wake up and get working with morning sunlight and enjoy the long shadows and dimming light as I leave work as it seems to put a stamp of completeness on my work day. But then, I work 8-5.
