Through the Prism

After passing through the prism, each refraction contains some pure essence of the light, but only an incomplete part. We will always experience some aspect of reality, of the Truth, but only from our perspectives as they are colored by who and where we are. Others will know a different color and none will see the whole, complete light. These are my musings from my particular refraction.

Unrelated Confessions

I told the YS staff at work I'm not a gamer. It came as quite a surprise to most of them, I think, since I'm head of the gaming committee and all.

Last week I finished the last of the green tea ice cream from Sake & Samurai.

Talisman was fun, but didn't satisfy my D&D craving.

Scott snuck out of work before I could wish him a happy vacation. I hope you and Kelly have had a good trip by the time you are reading this.

They don't sound that great from the blurb and they're not action-packed or anything, but I couldn't put down the Dreamhunter Duet by Elizabeth Knox. It started a bit slowly, but soon became gripping. I highly recommend it.

I had hoped to be able to ease those pangs this weekend for D&D but midwest weather has a way of being inconvenient as heck sometimes...

Thanks, Degolar. I just wanted to get out before I got caught up with another science fair project. Hope you're having a good one. We're having a wonderful time!
