Through the Prism

After passing through the prism, each refraction contains some pure essence of the light, but only an incomplete part. We will always experience some aspect of reality, of the Truth, but only from our perspectives as they are colored by who and where we are. Others will know a different color and none will see the whole, complete light. These are my musings from my particular refraction.

Oh, And By the Way

The quotes were from The True Meaning of Smekday.

And, TGIB, I had no awareness of Russell Brand before the VMAs, but found him quite enjoyable. For instance: Brand implored the audience to elect Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and later called U.S. President George W. Bush, "a retarded cowboy fella," who in England, "wouldn't be trusted with scissors."

That is funny... W *is* retarded and shouldn't be trusted with scissors.

The first lady stomped a carbon footprint here in town yesterday. She was only on the ground for about an hour, 90 mins max. All for a Republican fundraiser... the local House of Representatives race.

Not only did she waste a bunch of fuel, time, and money... the appearance won't make a difference in two years. The candidates have to ramp up the campaign again.

The only really rewarding part to the story is the ripoff contributors received. $500 only got you in the door for an hor'd'vouers. $7500 was to guarantee premimum seating, and a photo with the prez. Prez didn't come, asking Laura to take his place.

You think the RNC wanted to refund those that had already paid $7500 and didn't get their pic? Hee hee!
