Through the Prism

After passing through the prism, each refraction contains some pure essence of the light, but only an incomplete part. We will always experience some aspect of reality, of the Truth, but only from our perspectives as they are colored by who and where we are. Others will know a different color and none will see the whole, complete light. These are my musings from my particular refraction.

Saturday Morning Finds at the Library

It seems someone is starting very early teaching their child that Friday nights are party nights:

Late last night, for the first time since it happened at the end of January, we sat down and watched video of our ICU wedding.  This morning this cut out picture of K from the event--that someone must have printed from Facebook--was sitting on my messy desk:

Since I wasn't here for his last shift of the summer yesterday, he left me this little (1.5" x .5") note: "Thanks so much.  I enjoyed working here and I hope to be back next year.  --Kyle, Teen Volunteer":

Magnetic poetry from the teen area:

Ok, that cutout of K is just a bit creepy.

The strange thing is that it's Photoshopped, with her head from one picture put on her body from another.

It looks like something from a weird Victorian ghost story.
