Has This Happened to Anyone Else?
A couple of weeks ago the Argosy Casino tried to earn our business by sending us a $30 credit toward their restaraunts, so tonight we had dinner at their buffet. On the way out we ran into some guy who said he worked for the office of homeland security and he needed to borrow my wallet to help prevent a terrorist threat. He told me they'd bring it back to our house when done with it, but I'm wondering how long I'll have to go without it.

Guess they planned on recovering their $30 one way or another!
Sorry. : (
Are you serious?
Hee-hee. Just the wallet or everything in it, too?
No, not serious. Just making a random joke about "The War on Terror" and the headlines I see sometimes about people being gullible.
I remember something from quite a while back about women letting themselves be bodily searched by men claiming to be security at airports who turned out just to be perverts.
With an a attempt at subtle commentary about what our "imperial president" and his cronies want us to give up in the name of security.
We really did go to dinner at the Argosy, though. Shrimp and steak night at the buffet. Not awesome, but pretty good. My first steak in a long time.
I completely understand what you are saying about gullibility. It's funny, I actually found out recently that the Dennys bathroom is not a random security checkpoint.
