Through the Prism

After passing through the prism, each refraction contains some pure essence of the light, but only an incomplete part. We will always experience some aspect of reality, of the Truth, but only from our perspectives as they are colored by who and where we are. Others will know a different color and none will see the whole, complete light. These are my musings from my particular refraction.

Olathe in the New York Headlines

And it's not for conservative politics this time. Surprising.

Rent’s Bite Is Big in Kansas, Too

New census data shows that people are paying more of their income for housing in almost every part of the country. And it is hardly surprising that places like Southern California and Manhattan are high on the list.

But Olathe? In northeast Kansas?

Olathe (pronounced oh-LAY-thuh), 20 miles southwest of Kansas City, showed the biggest jump in the percentage of people paying at least 30 percent of their income on rent, as well as in those paying at least 50 percent on rent. . . .

I think your intro is misleading, because that article is totally about conservative politics, it just doesn't say it is.

Yeah, but making that connection requires nuanced and complex thinking, which means there's no way it could have anything to do with conservatism.
