Through the Prism

After passing through the prism, each refraction contains some pure essence of the light, but only an incomplete part. We will always experience some aspect of reality, of the Truth, but only from our perspectives as they are colored by who and where we are. Others will know a different color and none will see the whole, complete light. These are my musings from my particular refraction.

One Week Later

I finally got another copy of Bud, Not Buddy on CD and have been listening to it again. A few selections:

Drooling in the books is even worse than laughing out loud in the library, and even though it might seem kind of mean, you can't really blame the librarians for tossing drooly folks out 'cause there's nothing worse than opening a book and having the pages all stuck together from somebody's dried-up slobber.

and

This is the one bad thing about talking to librarians, I asked one question and already she had us digging through three different books.

and since I recently mentioned hoboes

"Well, how 'bout the toilet? How we going to use the toilet if the train doesn't stop?"
Bugs said, "You just kind of lean out of the door and go."
"When the train is still moving?"
"Yeah. You get a real nice breeze."
"Oh, man! That sounds great! Count me in, I can't wait!"
