So we broke down and bought some new living room furniture. The house just seemed to call for it. We're hoping we don't regret it when all the bills come due, but it's very exciting right now. The utilities and cable/Internet have been called and half of our house is in boxes. After 11+ years of accumulation, we're giving away what seems like the other half. We close tomorrow and take possession Friday, then have just over a week to trim the trees and bushes in the yard and get a fence put in for the dogs, treat the deck, and paint a couple of rooms. My week of vacation will actually be spent unpacking and moving in. See (at least some of) you at the old house the morning of the 22nd.
