Through the Prism

After passing through the prism, each refraction contains some pure essence of the light, but only an incomplete part. We will always experience some aspect of reality, of the Truth, but only from our perspectives as they are colored by who and where we are. Others will know a different color and none will see the whole, complete light. These are my musings from my particular refraction.

Typed While Watching a Fight on Monday Night Football

In my previous post I referred to teamwork, and in church yesterday it occurred to me that the bell choir is one of the clearest illustrations of teamwork in action. Everyone has a role that is unique and cannot be duplicated or replaced. If someone doesn't provide their part the whole is reduced and every single person in the group is necessary to achieving the goal (in this case, a complete song with all of its notes). Everyone must be synchronized and working together--same rhythm, tempo, volume, etc--at all times; again, even one person being off messes everything up. Harmony of action and cooperation.
