Through the Prism

After passing through the prism, each refraction contains some pure essence of the light, but only an incomplete part. We will always experience some aspect of reality, of the Truth, but only from our perspectives as they are colored by who and where we are. Others will know a different color and none will see the whole, complete light. These are my musings from my particular refraction.

A Little Gay Around the Edges

I reference TMBG most often, but if I had to pick just one music act it would be Peter Gabriel. This is not my favorite of his, but he doesn't get referenced in current YA books very often. From Gentlemen, by Michael Northrop:

There's a song called "Digging in the Dirt"--it goes like, "This time you've gone too far!"--and even though it's by some old English guy, and it's sort of college music and maybe a little gay around the edges, I still sort of like it.
