Yummy Corn Dogs
Last night I rediscovered another food I can eat now that I'm allergic to wheat: the corn dog. I hadn't eaten one for maybe 15-20 years, but I was reminded how much I like them. I was at Kauffman Stadium looking for something to have for dinner. Hot dogs and hamburgers come with buns, the Gates Barbecue is served on bread, even the chicken fingers have breading. Finally I stumbled across the corn dog stand and enjoyed a jumbo one with some nachos and a Pepsi.
I also enjoyed a 17-8 Royals victory. My dad is a big St Louis Cardinals fan and he decided to come to town for their series in KC this year. He stayed with us and went to each of the three games this week. I joined him for the finale last night. My first baseball game in a few years. It was fun.
We also have two signed contracts in our possession now, one for the house we're buying and one for the house we're selling. We just need an issue-free inspection now and we're ready to roll.

a) You haven't had a corndog in 15 years? What, my friend, is wrong with you... and
b) I'm really jealous you got to go to that game. I watched it on TV and was giddy. It was awesome. A Royals victory over the hated Cardinals is even sweeter when you unfortunately live, as I do, in a Cardinals town.
Oh, and congratulations on the housing progress!
Mmm. . . corn dogs. Right up there with chicken fried butter sticks in the nutrition department, but oh so tasty.
Yum. Corn dogs are delicious. I haven't had one since high school. Maybe I'll pick up a box at the grocery store.
We're going to the Royals game tonight, so hopefully they've still got some energy left.
Excellent news on the real estate front! Good luck with the inspection!
Glad you had a better game than we did. It was close, but we lost 8-9 against the marlins. Got a free hat, saw a couple Chinooks, an Apache, and 4 F-14 Hornets did a fly over twice for Military Thanks Night.
And congrats on the house. Wish you well for a smooth transition!
F-18 Hornet.
And WOO, house.
