Through the Prism

After passing through the prism, each refraction contains some pure essence of the light, but only an incomplete part. We will always experience some aspect of reality, of the Truth, but only from our perspectives as they are colored by who and where we are. Others will know a different color and none will see the whole, complete light. These are my musings from my particular refraction.

On the Edge of the Storm

A strange weather day.  Cloudy, gloomy, and heavy with dampness all day, but no sign of rain in sight.  Then, out of nowhere in the late afternoon, crashing thunder and sudden downpour.  Now a clear, sunny, beautiful evening.  When I walked out of work I saw the transition between the later two.

Half of the sky was dark, grey storm clouds and the other half bright blue.

Much less dramatic, but a bit of the similar transition that was behind me when I snapped the previous pictures:

On a somewhat related note of transitioning from stormy skies to sunny, I really like this article about getting out of a mood funk.  It has a nice variety of approaches, including physical, emotional, social, mental, and hybrid, so there should be something for most anyone in most any situation.
